Import VAT, Customs Duties and Fees
Great Britain: consignments of £135 or less
For goods shipped from abroad to Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales) in consignments worth £135 or less, applicable VAT is included in your checkout total.
Great Britain: consignments above £135
For goods shipped from abroad to Great Britain in consignments worth more than £135, import VAT, any applicable customs duty and carrier handling fees are not included. These charges are your responsibility and may be collected before delivery.
The £135 threshold applies to the goods value of the whole consignment, not each item separately. Separately stated shipping and insurance charges are excluded from this value.
Northern Ireland
For Northern Ireland, VAT and customs treatment depends on the dispatch origin. Import VAT, any applicable customs duty and carrier handling fees not included in your checkout total may be collected before delivery.
Other destinations
For other destinations, import duties, taxes and carrier handling fees vary by destination and are your responsibility unless expressly included in the checkout total. They may be collected before delivery.
